Audio formats

Jajuk supports following audio formats:

Audio Interchange File Format	.aiff
WAV, SPEEX	.wav
AU	.au
RealAudio*	.ram, .ra, .rm
WMA	.wma
MPEG 2	.mp2
Monkey's Audio (under Jajuk 1.6, no seeking, no cross fade)	.ape, .mac, .apl
Musepack (Jajuk 1.6 and later)	.mpc, .mp+, .mpp
Wavepack (Jajuk 1.7 and later)	.wv

* Under Linux, requires w32codec package along with mplayer.

Playlist formats

Jajuk uses M3U (.m3u) Playlist format.

Cover formats

Jajuk supports following image formats for covers (limited to 1Mb):

• PNG (.png)
• JPEG (.jpg)
• GIF (.gif)

Tags formats

Jajuk supports following tags formats:

• OGG
• Flac (from Jajuk 1.7)
• ID3 V1
• ID3 V2
• WMA
• M4A / AAC (from Jajuk 1.7)

Video formats

• AVI (Jajuk 1.6 and later)

Extensions: .avi, .mpg, .mpeg, .mkv, .mp4, .asf, .wmv, .mov, .ogm, .mp4

• Flash Video (Jajuk 1.6 and later)

Extensions: .flv

Special note

Without Mplayer only the following format are supported: mp3, ogg, au, wav, speex. We discourage using Jajuk without mplayer.
